Scott met Andrew when they were roommates while interning at Microsoft in in 2004. Andrew went to Stanford to get his PhD in Computer Science and when Scott ended up there as well they became close friends. Andrew is a frequent companion in many of our adventures and after a year of spending nearly every weekend at our apartment, finally moved to San Francisco last September. Andrew is currently working at a web start-up. A man of many interests, his past and present hobbies include skiing, flying planes, juggling, biking, poker, rock climbing, computers, reading, photography, baking, scuba diving, the outdoors, and white-water rafting.

Scott and Jess met Yogesh through Andrew (they both went to CMU). Yogi, as we call him, is a consultant in San Francisco. The life of every party, Yogi's friends have coined the term "The Yogi Effect" to describe how things seem to get wilder and crazier in his presence. Naturally, he's taken the lead on organizing Scott's bachelor party. We're understandably a little afraid.

Scott's brother-in-law Sean is married to Scott's sister (see right). Sean and Christine met when they were both undergrads at UCSD. Sean moved north briefly to Stanford where he received his JD and now practices corporate law in San Diego. A true San Diegan, Sean enjoys surfing, rooting for the Chargers, and drinking his home-brewed beer.

Jess and Elyse have known each other since January 21, 1987. Although they didn't get along growing up, they have become closer as adults. Elyse graduated from UC Santa Cruz last June with a degree in Art and after a brief adventure in San Diego she's moved back to the Bay and joined us at Google! Jess is thrilled to have her sister near by again. 

Jess and Carolynn met in 2002 when they were sorority sisters at UCSD. Jess heard nothing but great things about Carolynn when she first joined Sigma Kappa (Carolynn was studying for the semester in Australia) and they became fast friends once they met. Jess is proud to have introduced Carolynn to her boyfriend Jeremy, a good friend of ours from high school. Carolynn just received her Masters in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University and is working on completing her intern hours.

Christine is Scott's older (and wiser) sister. She also is an alum of UCSD and currently works as an Information Analyst in San Diego. She and her husband Sean (see left) have been married for 5 years and just welcomed 2 little girls in early January - Becca and Jenna. When not busy with her new additions, Christine enjoys baking the occasional cupcake and playing with her dog, Sandy.
